Day 12

Hi young Lady

Short and sweet...I'm sober and f...proud of it. Will let you know later why so proud. First things!
All is well.
Cheers - K

The above graced my inbox this morning - from Koos. Mmmmm curious, will post later what it was all about.
Back to Day 12.
I am curiously happy this morning. My husband went to his first AA meeting and he looked slightly relieved when he got home. The only comment: "The discussion was relevant to my life". Thank you Lord! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I can feel the change happening. I can feel my head thinking differnetly, I hear myself reacting differently. Don't get me wrong, I am tired as hell, my kid drives me insane somedays and I have plenty to be stressed out about, but I feel focussed. And there is some strength in that.

I have alot to do at work, being audited. Luckily I am becoming and expert on spiritual auditing of oneself. Perhaps it will help..?

Seems both Koos and I have run out of things to say. So just for today we are - sober. And once again, that'll do pig, that'll do.

The words I have to say
May well be simple but they're true
Until you give your love
There's nothing more that we can do

Love is the opening door
Love is what we came here for
No one could offer you more
Do you know what I mean
Have your eyes really seen

You say it's very hard
To leave behind the life we knew
But there's no other way
And now it's really up to you

Love is the key we must turn
Truth is the flame we must burn
Freedom the lesson we must learn
Do you know what I mean
Have your eyes really seen

Love is the opening door
Love is what we came here for
No one could offer you more
Do you know what I mean
Have your eyes really seen...
