Amazing how terribly accepted the abuse of alcohol really is. It is socially so acceptable, that it even makes them cooler when they have ridiculous bumper stickers on their fairly smashed cars.
According to arrive alive almost 50% of people who die on SA roads have too much alcohol in their blood.
I'm no angel - I have driven drunk, I have driven drunk with my daughter in the car and I have publicly denied it. It just becomes really scary when you are sober enough to get it. And driving to work really early, seeing "Fear no Beer" on the bumper of a seriously hungover woman....well, sort of makes you think.
